Samtec Expands with a New Cable and RF Connector Manufacturing Facility in Pennsylvania

Samtec Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacturer of electronic interconnect solutions, announced the opening of its newest manufacturing facility in Royersford, Pennsylvania. The 24,000 square foot facility will leverage Samtecโ€™s decades of experience andย industry-leading technology.

The new facility will specialize in the production of high precision coaxial cables and RF connectors, servicing industries such as:ย aerospace/defense,ย medical device, Datacom,ย automotive, computer semiconductor,ย instrumentation, andย consumer electronics.

The Need for Expansion

As the demand for advanced interconnect solutions continues to grow, Samtec recognized the need to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The new Pennsylvania facility is focused on developing next-generation products by harnessing the latest advancements in material science andย signal integrity.

The cable and RF facility is equipped with the latest technologies and machinery to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation in RF connector production.

The new cable plant is also being staffed with highly skilled cable and RF professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the production process. Samtec is confident that this new manufacturing facility will play a key role in supporting our customerโ€™s needs of delivering high-quality products andย Sudden Serviceยฎ.

Orange is the New Cable!

The new PA facility is developing next-generationย precision RF cable assembliesย that offers improved stability and flexure over time and address commonย industry concernsย of phase control, delay, loss, and shielding effectiveness.

Specifically colored in distinctive Samtec orange, this family of three new RF cablesย aims to balance application with cost sensitivities. These immediately recognizable orange Samtec cables will be manufactured in the new facility in Royersford, PA as well as Samtecโ€™s Wilsonville, OR plant.
